The source said he will be “redeployed” to a new ministry. “Its not just Anodoakaa. Others will be affected. It’s a reshuffle.” I hope he is redeployed to the ministry of kirikiri maximum. get used to sharing a bed with fat george |

Re: Breaking News! Aondoakaa Removed by Nobody: 5:49pm On Feb 10, 2010 |
Fhemmmy: They are all compromised either by inducement or intimidation However Sahara, 234Next, etc are stateless, locationless media organisation. Sarki Mukhtar and Joe Gadzama can not storm any of these digital media organisations to threaten them because they just sinply don't exist within the Nigerian boarders yet and to the Nigerian Government these news organisations are ghosts. So when folks refuse to appreciate Sahara, just know that they do not appreciate the benefits of the technology available to us. Do you know that the intrigues that happened today. If it was in the past, this news may die and Aondoakaa may return as AGF. But because the news within seconds had been shared by Nigerians on Twitter and Facebook while first broken by Sahara. The Government will damage its own credibility by not sticking to its initial policy or semblance of it after the first attempt. When the Government wants to look credible who benefits? THE REST OF US. so folks get over this thought of Thisday and Punch being more reliable than Sahara. Also take note the difference between News by Sahara and articles by political pundits like Okey Ndibe or Harun Mohamed. |

This move doesn't portray change to me. The guy should have been removed period. |
Re: Breaking News! Aondoakaa Removed by SkyBlue1: 5:52pm On Feb 10, 2010 |
deluxecad: Gayigaskia: To be honest the country needs motion and not more litigation and all of that. Focus on development. If the outright sacking of the AGF would mean a replacement is needed and hence possible slowdown in government due to appointment of a new guy and then clearing from the legislature, etc, then the second best thing to do in the interim as not to slow down things, is to relegate Aondoaka to some irrelevant ministry and for the sake of everything good, don't budget significant ammounts of cash to that ministry or give that ministry anything important to do. This could be a pragmatic approach. |

Well, let us wait and see. Stupid Ojo Maduekwe was locked out coming late. See below. http://www.thenigeriabusiness.com/eco313.html Jonathan locks out ministers for lateness By Madu Onuorah 9th February 2010 Two Ministers, Chief Ojo Maduekwe (Foreign Affairs) and Mr Lanre Babalola (Power), were yesterday locked out for coming late for a scheduled meeting with Vice President Goodluck Jonathan. Maduekwe came in 15 minutes behind schedule while Babalola came in 20 minutes for a meeting slated for 1.00 p.m. They were however allowed in after some explanations and confirmations that they were actually informed of the meeting at the last minute. Jonathan had recently abandoned a scheduled meeting with a group of ministers because of lateness. The meeting had to be rescheduled as those expected at the meeting came some minutes after the meeting was supposed to have commenced. Maduekwe had on getting to the door to the Vice President's conference room hoped to enter unhindered, but was surprised to be told by the Vice President's security aides that he could not go inside. Embarrassed by the situation, explained that he only got a call for the meeting five minutes to the scheduled time, soliciting the understanding of the Chief Security Officer to the Vice President to be able to enter. Babalola, who got to the meeting venue five minutes after Maduekwe was let in, said he was not aware of the meeting before the call came, just 10 minutes before the commencement of the meeting. |

Gayigaskia: The guy will be sacked in due course. If he is sacked now, idleness may enable him to start trying to file a lawsuit that could be problematic for Jonathan. With the former AG still a cabinet member, he can easily be controlled. Good move by Jonathan. Jonathan should sack him after a few weeks or months without any ceremony. If the former AG has any integrity, he should resign. Barawo banza. |
