EDO AND DELTA UNITY OF BENDEL

Just like Nigeria; Bendel is also a multicultural society full of different tribes and beliefs. The whole point of Bendel is to be a nation with good democracy and unity. Unlike Nigeria that could not accomplish promoting unity among their people despite the tribes Bendelites are trying to find away to make it work and there are some ideas.

History: To always teach the historical event that made what it is today. the colonization of the empire by the European (Benin empire) and the tribal war that cause Atlantic slave trade and last but not least the history of Nigeria. its important to learn history so the same mistake wont be repetitive or in a similar situation,
Look at the common factor: knowing the differences in each Bendelites due to the tribes and culture. Despite all that they are somethings Bendel needs to think about before tribalism becomes an issue. Bendel was part of a nation known as Nigeria means ”niger area” which means area of blacks. the word ”niger” is the original spelling of the ‘N’ word which means black in latin. to the world we are all view as black people. If and a student from Esan land can go to a multicultural and multiracial country like U.S.A and sit in the same class with Europeans, Asians then why not live and try to coexist in the same country as an Ikwale after all we all come from the same group of people as the western world calls it ‘race’ and most importantly we are human beings.
Equality: Being open-minded contributes for equality the beliefs that everyone opinion and voice matter even if you disagree with that person. being open-minded leads to more of a civilized nation; as the bible written in one of the ten commandments ”love your neighbours as yourself” respect and give a helping hand to the person next to you no matter what tribe there from whether its minority or majority. The mentality of thinking your view is better than the person view next to you because you believe you came from a tribe greater than the other person. can lead to tribalism and situation in our society would be dealt with in an uncivil matter which we are trying to prevent.
