The Osun state governor, Rauf Aregbesola, has described demise of his mother, Madam Saratu, as a great blow to the dynasty and womanhood, barely four days after she was laid to eternal rest.

His later mother, who was 84, was buried in Ilesha axis Osun State according to Islamic rites after her death which came few days after falling ill.

Aregbesola expressed his dissatisfaction while hosting his Kwara state counterpart, AbdulFatai Ahmed, who came to pay a condolence visit to him over the death of his mother, Saratu Aregbesola.

The governor lamented that the death of his mother has no doubt caused him a deep sorrow, describing it as a ‘deep disaster that had happened to the family.

According to him, there is no strict definition of sorrow than a moment of great sadness which he’s personally undergoing over the demise of his mother.
