Reasons why it is NOT the best time of ones life:

- You are extremely dependent on your parents or guardians, (so if you have abusive or neglectful parents, you're screwed)

- You are naive and easily deceived or tricked (someone can tell you that Santa Claus exists and you would believe without question.)

- You are treated as subhuman and given less rights than an adult. (You can tell someone that uncle Bobba killed your dog, and no one would believe you because you are a child)

Being a child is only fun because of the lack of responsibility, lack of drama, and carefree nature of your life. But this is only true if you are middle class and above and have good parents.

If you are poor or have bad parents, your childhood is the worst time of your life.
