NFF INVITES 34 FOR AMODU The Nigeria Football Federation has called up 34 domestic league players to camp for the Super Eagles Team B that will confront Niger Republic in an African Nations Championship qualifier next month. Coach Shuaibu Amodu, whose position in the national team remains hazy, has been assigned to train the team ahead of the qualifying game, but is yet to resume duties in Abuja. In his absence, interim coach Erasmus Onuh, will take charge of preparing the squad. The Super Eagles Team B will play an African Nations Championship qualifier against their Niger counterparts in Niamey on March 14, with the return leg coming up in Nigeria on March 27. The second edition of the African Nations Championship finals will hold in Sudan next year. CAF instituted the competition for footballers playing in their country’s domestic league, and the inaugural edition took place in Cote d’Ivoire last year with DR Congo emerging winners. Very strong list. . . .but missing Valentine Nwabili, Josiah Maduabuchi, Nnaemeka Anyanwu (all Enyimba FC), Obiorah Nwankwo (Wikki Tourist), Bello Koformoata, Osanga King (Both Heartland FC) and the U-17 duo of Ramon Azeez and Abduljeleel Ajagun amongst others. |

I guess John Aondonga made that list for his fortuitous goal against Rangers in Enugu and that pass came from Amaefule who merits his place. I agree with your own list but why isn't Rabiu Baita on that list?? NFF have come with their dagbo list again?? |
