3. There are basically 2 technologies in screen production recently. a. LCD (liquid crystal display), b. Oled (organic light emitting diode )
4. Lcd are more common, they are of TFT or IPS type. TFT are found in most low end china phones, Tecno, Infinix, itel and rest.This account for its cheap price and not too good display quality.
5. IPS are found in most high and mid end phones like iphones, HTC, Huawei,Samsung....it offers rich color and faster speed, not forgetting its low power consumption and can be used under sunlight.
6. OLED are are the latest technology in screens manufactured first by Samsung, they offer very rich color and faster speed. Samsung and LG are currently the only OLED screen makers. Its featured on most Samsung S series phones. The latest of it is the AMOLED and super AMOLED. Super amoled are found in the Samsung edge series. These account for the high prices of most Samsung screens, they are exclusively sold by samsung and Lg for the now.
7. Most of the cracks that happens to phone is usually the glass which cost so little, less than 2k, excluding labour. which can be separated using specialized screen separating and laminating machine and skilled personnel.
