Naiaraland can be funny at times. A controversial ex minister leaving the country without investigation after possibly looting state treasury is seen as "victory" for the Nigerian people? Lets say he flees to London, he would be "fleeing" to a country with 24hr power supply and if he can afford it, relax in world class hotels and enjoy good infastructure while possibly sending some family members to receive world class education. Yeah, poor him indeed. Nairaland can be funny at times, what on earth are we exactly celebrating? Aondoakaa's case is not complete till he is investigated and if found wanting, prosecuted and punished according to the law. With such reception of this news, is it any wonder that more people have the audacity to get into positions of power and loot the nation blind? Worst case scenario, they would be able to "flee" out of a country people are desperately already trying to flee voluntarily. |

i really saw dis coming. the way he was fought against the then VP both in public and private was absolutely disgusting, heard he still referred to Jonathan as VP even after he's appointment. Jonathan was however smart not to sack him outrightly though. |
Re: Breaking News: Aondoankaa Goes On Leave by Jarus(m): 6:24pm On Feb 12, 2010 |
Not surprised. He will finally be sacked the way things are going |

For every single corrupt Nigerian politician, there should be bullet place in their head. Do it the Chinese way!!! If you are corrupt, then you die. It is as simple as that. Jerry Rawlings did a lot of good things for Ghana, that is why we need a Jerry Rawlings type in power. |

Re: Breaking News: Aondoankaa Goes On Leave by kuramo: 6:41pm On Feb 12, 2010 |
Aondoankaa must not be given a soft landing, he must be made to pay for all the crimes he has committed against the people of Nigeria. |

Sky Blue:If u do read the post thoroughly, a host number of pple are clamoring that his passport should be seized to avoid him feeing the country. Some were even clamoring for him to resign so that EFCC can go after him, as it is now, he's still a member of the cabinet and that immunity clause is still valid for him. Be patient, we're not stupid, Just as what happened in Indonesia couple of months ago, all of these pple will still face their music one way or the other, either tru this generation, next or the one yet unborn. Law of nemesis still exist. |

Re: Breaking News: Aondoankaa Goes On Leave by mydozie: 8:56pm On Feb 12, 2010 |
the truth is that he (aondoakaa) wants to escape the punishments of his evil deeds. Jonathan should be very careful with that man as well as the group of Governors that travelled to Saudi Arabia and who have been taking selfish sides since the just concluded saga. |

he is is not running ooh!!! They are definitely setting up another strategy now, he is still a member of the cabinet. The man does not give up that easy. It's time to test Goodluck's wisdom cos if their game plan works, Goodluck will be the one disgraced. Watch-out 4 the unfolding drama! |

This is the most corrupt and destructive AGF that has ever been foisted on this country! If he was educated enough, he ought to have done some research on the ill-health of his oga, a man with Chung Strauss Syndrome and associated grade II complications can hardly return to normal living, and we are talking about the Presidency of the most complicated and troublesome collection of people upon the face of the earth, this is the beginning of the once upon a time AGF's sunset Dr Goodluck Jonathan will be Acting President for the rest of the Yar Ardua/Jonathan Presidency |

The irresponsible bastard should have resigned from his new appointment if he has the guts. May be he still has a special duty to perform for his god mother, |
Re: Breaking News: Aondoankaa Goes On Leave by Gbawe: 10:54pm On Feb 12, 2010 |
na_so: Indeed , and Jonathan should have stuck to his original plan of sacking Aondoakaa and dismantling the former AGF totally. Jonathan must take care of Yar Adua's boys quickly , to include Ibori , or they will forment serious trouble for him . Wether Jonathan wants it or not, he may now be in a real fight . He will have to be ruthless in dealing with those who are ruthless also. http://saharareporters.com/real-news/sr-headlines/5131-acting-presidency-yaradua-loyalists-decide-new-strategies-against-jonathan.html Acting Presidency: Yar’Adua loyalists decide new strategies against Jonathan |
