I having been having irregular period now corrected. June period start on 12th via 17th then July start 25th via 29th. please help I don't know how to calculate the length of my period and ovulation period.

Hi tonawest,
the first day of your period is the first day of your menstrual cycle, and the day before your next period is the last day of this cycle.
so in your case, ur last period was on 12th June, so this is the first day of your cycle. Your next period was on 25 July, so the day before, 24 July was the last day of your previous cycle.. so 12th June to 24 July which is 43 days long (cycle lengths differ from between different women- on average 27days to 35 days).The ovulation day falls somewhere in the middle of your cycle so in ur case it would be (43÷2) around the 22nd day. So count 22 days from June 12th and u find ur ovulation day.
However several factors (eg. stress, travelling, diet, medication etc) alter the menstrual cycle length so sometimes the length might be shorter and the period and ovulation might occur earlier than expected.

Also, there are different period tracker apps you can download onto ur phone-- E.g the MyCalendar app--it basically allows u to record ur period dates every month so u have a record of ur period dates and also allows you to record ur symptoms, moods etc.. and also inputs ur ovulation dates and safe and unsafe days.. it's easy to use and greatly recommended!
