I heard a song today,
Whose sweet title is 'I'll try',
From the voice of a deaf lady;
What more reason do I need to try?

Life's pressures everyday,
Always hitting in a painful way,
But deep within the stormy fray,
Something keeps nudging me to fly.

Looking back at yesterday,
When my eyes were on the sky,
Soaked in the void of a cloudy day,
Still my bright hope led me not astray.

Today will be a better day,
Words that I mutter when I pray,
I know that with a will, there's a way,
So deep within my soul, I will try and try!
