That too and the idea Nigerian govt couldn't satisfy US with a reliable database and that in turn blacklisted Nigerian immigrants to the US. Now Corona has been giving Trump ideas and opportunities to implement his hatred toward non-europeans. I understand we should build our countries in Africa but the truth is we cannot. So people must move!

My question is what happens to those who become current for interviews and documentation?

Good day everyone, My petition was approved by USICS in February, and Notice of approved was sent to me.
But since then I have not receive any update from NVC and no welcome letter was sent to me, checking their website I discovered they are still working with limited staff, so I make an enquiry about my Case last week and this is their response....my Case is current.

I was trying to complete the DS-261 form as requested but I didn't go through, maybe because I used my USICS Case number, but that's the only one I have, and that is what I use for the enquiry.
Pls is there any one with such experience or who can be of help.. Thanks

Hello delight, you will need to call them again, when they pick, tell them you need your case number and invoice number, tell them you didn’t receive it by mail. If they’ve have your file and have created it on their server, they will simply call it out for you, that’s how I got mine before I receive the official welcome letter.

NB: To get through easily, make sure you call as early as 7am their time.

I need advice on the best way to sort it out.

Get an affidavit to address them. Now on, stick with what is on your PP. Nigerians and names!

For where! That’s another backlog on its own, but we are hopeful things will get back to normal!

Apply for an affidavit (Confirmation of Name "full name/short form" ).
If I may ask, in which State are you based? If Lagos, I can direct you on how to go about it at the Ikeja High Court.

Hello All! I got my police certificate at alagbon ikoyi today. I paid just N3,000 but I dash one woman N500. So the total money spent is N3,500.

Tips: don’t answer those police men/women downstairs, just tell them you are going to forensic, that you just call someone you know there. Na dem dey make the fees high.

No, the A part is advisable Rayskis. A is mainly for interview letter while the part B is when you should expect welcome letters. E.g if you’ve been approved and in nvc stage; part A is for you but if you’ve not been approved yet by uscis then part B table is what you should be looking at; it will give you idea when you’ll likely be approved. Hope this is helpful?
