A suspected ATM thief was chased and caught this morning by the police and bank security men along Afikpo Road Abakaliki. He operates by blocking the “NO” key on the ATM machine with glue. When the machine inquires if you would like to make another transaction. With the NO key stiff your card cannot be ejected as the other option is to continue transaction. He will ask you as a concerned person to quickly go inside the Banking hall to report. Really stupid story cos you can just press the cancel key on the keypad and get you card plus for him to continue to another transaction he needs to re-enter the PIN. |
