A new born baby boy born in General Hospital Kontagora in Niger state was born with his liver, small intestine outside his body. Unfortunately the doctors in that hospital ar not qualified to fix the boy that they had to refer him and his parents to Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (IBB Specialist) Hospital in Minna in order for the baby to have the care he needs. Inside Arewa recalls that a business man Alhaji Abdulrahman MK that lives in Kontagora paid off the medical bills for the baby. As of the time of filing this report, doctors in IBB Specialist Hospital Minna Successfully performed surgery on the patients and waiting for his recovery and healing. Just imagine,na nylon and plaster them carry patch the baby.. They have just stuffed his abdominal cavity with intestine,in the name of surgery,see how it looks bloated and out of alignment. I can bet,the complications from this emergency quack surgery will be worse than the real congenital anomaly in the near future. May God help the family... This is not how the condition should be treated. I watched some videos on YouTube and saw babies treated of this same condition. I guess the doctors did what they could in the absence of proper medical instruments. I hope he survives. |
