However, this bride chose to wear black to her wedding and she surprisingly looks stunning.

Why black of all colours
It looks good on her cos she's light skinned.

Wearing a white dress symbolises you are a Christian and a Virgin.
asides these two you can wear any colour dress you want.

The truth is that it's not compulsory to wear white. It's her day and she probably wore black because she looks great in that colour.

I want to point out that white dresses only recently began to symbolise christianity and virginity, and only became common in weddings after Queen Victoria chose to wear one at her wedding.
It was rather unusual to wear white before her time in Europe, and white wedding dress only became popular because of her.

I am not even in for whether she is a virgin or not. White or black, color is color. If a man can wear black suit on his wedding day without having to feel awkward I think a lady can also. The thing is we have all gotten used to the white gown. Moreover this is Africa, even if you want to, your religious leader will certainly not allow it.
