Lovely. This has always been one of our biggest problems in Christianity in Nigeria. Our Pentecostal churches have made a notorious habit of it and now, our more respectable Catholics are beginning to tow the same dangerous path, staking their reputation. How could someone come outta nowhere and decide to either build you a church or give millions in offering/tithe and you bother not to do some little investigation as to his source of income? If our religious houses can't perform one of their primary functions which is to moderate societal rot, theñ of what good exactly are they? The other day, a very strong "boneh" friend of mine, in response to my question says "regardless of the source, once money is being offered in church, it becomes purified!" I weep for my brothers. 62 Likes 6 Shares |

The power and influence of money in the lives of people can not be over emphasized. But I have an exception. These days, our parents are more into money that they feign ignorance of what their children do to make money but accept gifts like houses and cars without serious query to confirm the source of those gifts. It cuts across tribes. I am Yoruba and I know what I am saying. It wasn't like this before. Back then, a young guy can not buy iPhone without a job and the parent will look other way. Nowadays, the parents would even accept much more without asking questions. The love of money is the root of all evil. 48 Likes 3 Shares |

You only know rich men and that is why everyone wants to be rich so the society can count them as existing. I know that about three years ago, Ozubulu Development Union in South Africa, was having serious leadership tussle. Our children who are living there were having a disagreement over who becomes the chairman of the union. They didn’t agree and couldn’t resolve the issue among themselves. Mind you that we have Ozubulu Development Union all over the world. God help the world now that Ozubulu has development plans all over the world. The attempts to develop SouthAfrica has led to crises among fellow developers that ought to be selfless and generous. Interpol will do well to start investigating certain development cartels that enable organised crime. 24 Likes 2 Shares |

And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows; And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites. |

Migration of people from the less fortunate eastern part of Nigeria to the relatively peaceful and prosperous west has brought its own baggage and unwanted crimes. These influx of persons of questionable character wanted for crimes in the South East to the west and other parts of Nigeria gave rise to various crimes such as kidnapping, ritual killings, rape, robbery and other societal vices. 13 Likes 2 Shares |

This is so sickening. I guess Pablo Escobar and other drug barons in South America were good people as well because they did some charity and regardless of whether killing people was part of their trade. The community is finished when you have the leader talking like some hungry riff raff. 23 Likes 3 Shares |
