Our client is an agro-company with the objective to contribute to the nation' food sufficiency through sustainable agricultural practices.
A 100 hectares oil palm plantation at Ijaye farm settlement , Atan , off Ibadan - Iseyin Road in the year 2013 and the farm
is doing very well.
The investors in this business recently acquired 500 hectares in Iseyin axis, for integrated farming purpose ( Oil palm inclusive)

Due to this expansion the following are required:

1. PLANTATION MANAGER

Responsibilities

The Plantation Manager will lead the Farm Operations group responsible for establishing and managing the oil palm plantation including the pre-nursery, nursery and field plantation near Ibadan, Oyo State,South West Nigeria.

Requirements

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to lead this group
Strong technical background in soil, nutrient, water management, irrigation and plantation design for oil palm cultivation.
Ability to work on own initiative and working to tight deadlines and handling pressure.
Ability to develop and communicate plans and tasks to a range of workers with varied skills.
Experience working in a fast changing business environment with ability to analyse agriculture issues and provide solutions and action plans.

Qualifications
You should hold a first degree in Agricultural science or related discipline with managerial experience and highly computer literate.
