In order for teachers to be successful in management of classes and students, a Non-governmental organization, Educational Aid Global Initiative Edu-Aid of Covenant Christian Centre, is organizing a conference for teachers in the country.

The conference themed, “THE TEACHER REVOLUTION” is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 26th of August 2017 at the Covenant Place, Iganmu Lagos.

The conference aims for investment in recruiting, supporting, and empowering teachers that have been identified as a major key in realizing, Sustainable Development Goals, (SDG 4) which is the new global education goal that is at the heart of the Education 2030 Agenda.

Peace Bamidele Program Officer-EDUAID, said the program aim is to share best and current practices regarding mentoring, instruction and motivation of students for best possible outcomes.

According to her, “the is being organized to build capacity and strengthen competence through exposure to relevant information, vital skills and current teaching principles, styles and techniques. It is going to feature key speakers who have been experts in the field of education and teacher training for decades” he said.

“we intend to share best and current practices regarding mentoring, instruction and motivation of students for best possible outcomes and also is going to be a platform for teachers to interact, build networks and develop relationships that will advance the teaching profession”.
