I sent an updated passport at a time I didn't know the VO nor have a UCI. It's not a compulsory field. After about three weeks they acknowledged my email and told me it's been forwarded to the appropriate officer. The same day I got an ADR to upload my latest passport. I.just reattached what I uploaded previously and included an LOE that they should change my surname to the married name based on the passport details. By the next day, the visa officer had effected the name change. This was last week. Still awaiting result though. So please go ahead with the CSE. To know your VO..you can send an email to the following requesting to know your VO. Hoping they respond. But that should not delay your CSE. Glad to be here Thanks 40manlappy for taking the lead on this. GlistteringStar....excellent work you've done compiling names of people that got PPR and creating a link to their timeline. I'm chuffed at the amount of work you both have put it. Many thanks. 8 Likes |

I think it's worth sharing this info on this new thread. I've had a lot of people ask about the stages - Stages in Canadian PR journey 1st the profile 2nd is ITA 3rd is AOR 4th medicals 5th background 6th ppr 7th COPR 8th landing 9th pr card ======================= These are 3 different stages that majority of the PR applicants in EE will see against Background check in My CIC. IP1 -------- IP1 will be shown when we pass the medical. Some people get this update on the same day along with their medical and some of them couple of days after. CIC agents will do R10, criminality checks during this stage. Once they feel everything is good then they will change it to NA. These things will happen at CIO Office (Centralized Intake Office) NA --------- This stage, our file will be transferred to CPC (Case processing Center) where agents will do eligibility assessments. If they feel everything is okay, then they will provide their recommendation to Visa Officer and same time they will initiate Security Checks. IP2 -------- This status will be seen in my CIC account once Visa Officer starts reviewing or after reviewing all agents recommendations. On the same day PPR request will be triggered if the applicant paid RPRF upfront. These things will be done at CPC office. It is not necessary that every applicant will undergo this process. But majority of the cases, I have noticed the same status 18 Likes 6 Shares |

domvic: Is the statement true? i.e. is your primary NOC outside the 10 year time frame? If so, then CIC is correct...and you may not be eligible under that NOC. Have you worked since the last 10 years? I'll suggest you use that work experience for your application. Please note that your work experience must be at least 1 year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous 30 hours/week for 12 months = 1 year full time (1,560 hours). Check the CIC website for further requirements. |

To know your Visa Office State request to know Visa Processing Office in the subject line of your email. In the body of your mail, make sure that you include your surname and other names, file number, date of birth and Unique Client Identifier (UCI) to help them identify your application.Don't forget to state your stream.(That's FSW,CEC or PNP) Do not send repeat enquiries, this includes sending the same enquiry by multiple means, as it creates confusion and can delay their reply. yimiton:Yes you are correct. But I said "it was possible, but not advisable". It is indeed possible, and someone has done it before only to find himself in a fix. Because of cos they have to estimate the date. https://www.nairaland.com/2624318/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/556#57637623 |

Justiyke4u:But only afterwards (bar) do you become a lawyer? right? If that's the case, I don't think you can use those 5 months. You need the claimed number of years of experience in your primary NOC. 1 Like |

contra: If you use WES, your ND+ATS+BSC will be evaluated as "Two or more certificates", earning you more points than a bachelor's. For the same WES, your ICAN will be evaluated, recognised, but will not add your scores and will not be evaluated as a professional degree. CISA will also not earn you any points, if evaluated by WES. For IQAS, I can't say. But I guess could be same thing. |

My son's date of birth was wrong on his e-medicals. We noticed immediately the admin person handed the e-medicals report to us but we were told they could not correct it as they had sent the medicals already. We had to get the Dr that did the medicals to write a letter that it was a mistake from them. We attached the letter with the e-medicals. tbaby2015: 3 Likes 1 Share |

Justiyke4u:As your reference letter now carries a different role. It makes it a bit tricky. Does it affect your eligibility or score if you take out these 5 months? I would wanna be careful using it. Perhaps those who have experience in this regard can contribute. NOC misrepresentation has a high chance of knocking off your application. |

geebaby10:Frankly, it shouldn't be a problem. IRCC says on its website that it's not required to upload a scan copy of ECA. But some people have also been rejected for not uploading ECA. Talk about confusion! If they need it, the usual thing is to request it. What can do you do? Use the web form to submit additional docs, if you wanna ease your worry. 1 Like |
