Is Bringing Back The Post Utme Good Or Bad? by tottinova: 7:39am On Aug 20, 2017
Last year, the national assembly denied Nigerian universities from conducting post utme, and then a year after , they swallow back their words. I would love to read your views about this sudden change. Is it for the betterment of nigeria's educational standard or is it a means for institutions to extort cash from innocent and desperate students.

I am of the view that the bringing back of the post utme revolves around this ongoing ASUU strike. Federal government, not being able to pay up the debt they owe ASUU, has now brought back the post utme so that higher institutions can generate revenue.

Post ume comeback is not connected to ASUU strike. The fact is that there was a general poor performance by majority of the students that gained admission s without Post use exams. last year...too many carry overs. So to adequately sanitise the system of BLOCK HEADS/DULLARDS(like buhari) postume has to make a come back.

They're only making things difficult in this country. Why do you think most Nigerians run to Ghana to study? What has post utme don since it's creation if not to exploit students. At least this year's Jamb was OK with low exam malpractice according to them so why wouldn't universities screen students based on that, why stress the students with another exam. Those justifying post utme coming back because of mass failure from last year's results should equally say that jamb was a waste of time.Arent they using waec in Ghana? My Ghana peeps please explain how students gain admission over there
