Yesterday, I saw a post here on Nairaland that showed a boy with Ricket all happy after surgery hence the reason for this discussion.

That post was quite sensitive hence the reason why I have to Loud it...'Surgery is not necessary for children with rickets or 'Bow Legs'.

Ricket is quite common in developing countries like Nigeria and some parent do opt for surgery via the orthodox or traditional way. 

Over time, I have seen comments on 2face Idibia's daughter, Olivia with lots of people advising her mum to do something about her 'bow leg' and I find it really annoying and quite disgusting.
