I am the current, and hopefully last, conservator of Brutus my 2002 4Runner 4WD SR5 that I keep in Ibadan.

Traditionally, this is an excellent vehicle with no fault. It is extremely popular in the USA and still retains a high resale value.

This being said, for your Wife to really enjoy this vehicle she should try to get a Toks. Mine is a Naija used and it shows but I am an Autoist and I am not bothered because I can deal with any maintenance shortcomings from the previous owner.

So far I've bought a set of tires N200,000, all ball joints N50,000 as well as other little stuff that I bring with me from the US. I could have spent less but I do not short change my vehicles with less than top shelf parts. A vehicle is just a sum of its parts.

I will never sell my 4Runner, and in fact other 4Runners of the same model will be joining him.

The oracle has spoken. Get your 4runner and enjoy it. However, pay good attention to the legs and underneaths, ensure they are in top form for you to enjoy the beast.
