NPFL Table Leaders, Plateau United got their lead cut to three points ahead of MFM at the week-end as they bowed 0-2 to an ABS team that is desperately struggling to escape relegation from Nigeria’s First Tier Football. The closest challengers for the League Title, MFM narrowly defeated another relegation threatened team, Gombe United by a solitary goal at the Agege Stadium in Lagos. The 1-0 win was however all they needed to get closer to the Table Toppers with just three points now separating both teams.
