First Nation Airways has released a statement in response to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA)’s suspension of its regular services. The NCAA had announced its suspension of the airline for having just one plane in its fleet.

In a statement signed by a representative of the airline, Rasheed Yusuf, the carrier was undergoing a fleet management programme. “The AOC was successfully renewed for charter operation and we have contracts for sales distributions. We thus remain committed to the highest level of safety standard in line with global industry best practises. Firstnation is currently working on a fleet expansion program and we are confident that we will expand to schedule operation during the fourth quarter of 2017.

PR is crazy. PR can make bad news seem so light. The person that drafted this statement deserves a raise.

Under Jonathan First Nation added planes but now under Buhari they have been reduced to just a single plane reminiscent of the Nigeria Airways Buhari inherited feom Shagari which had about 30 aircraft but by the the time he left the had reduced to about 4 poorly functioning planes and today we were also shocked to hear that even the presidential office had fallen to rats despite the fact all the other occupants of the office never experienced it ..Buhari's is a master class in bad leadership take it or leave it

Using big grammar to dodge a huge error on their part!!! Imagine how very unsafe it is to fly with ONLY 1 aircraft!! so many things are just wrong in the aviation industry! How they have even mamaged to fly all this while with just one plane baffles everyone. so much has been compromised in the regulatory bodies. Any fault on this one plane would have devastating/ripple effect on their schedule for the whole day and even the next.

And they are the worst as per giving refunds ( they actually dont give refunds aagain sef). Even when they disrupt, they are the only airline that do not give refreshment in the airport as a way to pacify/compensate passengers for delays.

They also made their ticket validity to be just 3 months as against global duration of 1 year validity.

Yeye de smell airline.
