I have been having this thought for a while now untill i came across a similar thread today and I really need your advice on what to do and how to manage my business, I really want to have big Hair store and a salon someday but I have to start from somewhere and I don't want to be a liability to my parents anymore because I believe it is time for me to start something I know I won't regret.

Mind you I'm still in school.
I came here because I know they would be business tycoons who can put me through.

Location:Osun State (obafemi awolowo precisely)

Budget: for start up 50k (though i don't have it now wont mind sponsors ooh)

Thoughts: I thinking of an online store (instagram facebook etc coupled with a courier service incase i get orders from lagos and co)

With the online gig you wanna pull off, maybe you should start looking into DROP-SHIPPING too.

A solid social media presence on (IG/FB/Tw/Snapchat etc) while a vibrant pro-marketing presence on-ground with friends, neighbors, students, fashion cliques, hairdo places etc will help.

Don't overlook the possibility of jumping the retailing level from time to time, as opportunity presents itself, by your being some other retailers source-point; it'll be a great boost to your capital if you could start supplying others in bulk right from start.

As a starter, you could also grow on another underdog by locating relatively good Weave Brands that you could act as a Distributor for, in your area. Offer them a good market expansion plan.

Human hair business is actually a lucrative one.
The first thing you have to consider is your potential buyers, can they really afford what you want to sell?
Study your environment very well.

Like earlier stated study your environment and know if they can comfortably afford your hair,also always go for the best grades of hair it may not necessarily be too expensive but maintain I good grade cos when one or two persons have complained of bad hair that is not a good one for your business!
