many people do it when they have children.
It will be funny if your child calls you by your first name.
After sometime they get too used to it.

yeah absolutely, my mom calls my dad daddy and my dad calls my mom mama, because everyone calls him that and it would be weird if she calls him by his name, but then again they are like 50 years and older, so i think its fine.
