for me: No.

At least not in its former guise. I'm a believer in one Nigeria but when Nigeria continues to do so poorly, it is inevitable that people will clamor for separation thinking it is the solution. It isn't.

The South-south does not uniformly aspire to be part of Biafra. And the economies of the Igbo dominated states cannot thrive without access to the seaports. No import-export? No economy in the Biafra. Try selling goods that have to be flown in or double taxed at another country then at your local border.

The current agitation for Biafra is more of political and not for the freedom of their people.

The Igbos leaders supposedly to lead the movement are divided

Those in favor of this movement have little-to-no knowledge on it.

They dont follow the necessary procedures.

Some of the movement leaders are massively corrupt.

A lot of disunity among the people calling for the freedom of Biafra. e.g. Some groups want to be free while some need the control of the oil.

A lot of corrupt people are running the movement which means they can easily be manipulated by the political class.

Most Igbos are against the idea of breaking away.

They are not taking the right step in the movement.

Nigeria will only reach its true potential with a true federal system that allows the best of each state to shine. This will lead to innovation and growth in the country.
