Though Connor put up a good fight in the first 6 rounds but he could no longer endure the heavy punches of Mayweather. For the record, Mayweather won his last Knock out in 2011 when he won Ortiz, ending his 50-0 career with a knock out would be an additional feather to his cap. To most pundits, Mayweather's winning does not come as a surprise. On the contrary, though Connor lost, he should be given a thumbs up for putting up such guts against Mayweather.
