i'm an Acura man and i actually have a 2004 model acura mdx
i ordered for the 2004 because of the exhaust pipes.
i would have ordered a 2007 but my pepper no reach. that was when Acura changed the shape of the MDX.

I can testify that it's an all-round great machine, provided, like every jeep, you don't mind the cost of fuel.

Who told you the Acura MDX fuel economy is as bad as other SUVs? Have you driven one before? or you don't know it's a Honda product; thus, has a very good fuel economy.
