..Police in Kano have raised the alarm over raising cases of incest in the state. Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Kano State Command DSP Magaji Musa Majiya, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday. Majiya said that many parents had indulged into unholy act with their biological children. “Nobody has ever thought this could happen where a biological father has carnal knowledge of his daughter. This has happened in Unguwa Uku in Kano where a father slept with his 14-year-old daughter leaving her pregnant on three different occasions,” he said. Majiya also revealed that the girl in question, had carried out abortion three times after being impregnated by her father. According to him, the command has made several arrests, including a man who raped 11-year-old twin sisters as well as a 25 year-old man who consistently sleeps with his blood sister in Kano. He said 34 out of 35 persons suspected for rape have been arrested, saying 36 victims within the age of 5-13years fall victims of the ungodly act http://dailypost.ng/2017/08/29/incest-rise-kano-police/ |
