The OOU Graduate Farmers CMS Limited is a cooperative multipurpose society registered in Ogun State in 2014. The Cooperative was started by the the Olabisi Onabanjo University Graduates at the College of Agricultural Sciences, Yewa Campus Ayetoro, Ogun State. The Pioneering members include the graduating agricultural students and those who studied Cooperative and Business Management. The Society's vision is to become a leading conglomerate of agriculture professionals in Africa by the year 2020. The CMS operates hectares of farmland at the Ogun State Farm Estate situated at Awowo town, along Lagos Abeokuta Expressway, Abeokuta, Ogun State. Members now include Nigerian graduates who studied locally and internationally. In fact, the current Public Relation Officer (PRO) resides (as at now) in Canada.
With painstaking efforts, dedicated leadership and professional members, the society is on the verge of securing up to N30m grants from the United States African Development Foundation (USADF). This requires at least 100 membership strength according to Mr. Andrew Echono- The Country Coordinator. The Cooperative has set a target of 200 members by November, 2017.
