Nigerian President Mohammadu Buhari earlier today at the presidential villa in Abuja received Nigeria’s female basketball team, D’Tigress, who won the Afrobasket Championship title for the first time in 12 years in Mali last Sunday, making them the new African women basketball champions.

According to Mr President’s announcement while receiving the Nigerian women basketballers, each of the players will be receiving the sum of N1 million while the officials will receive half a million.
