We obviously haven't had it all on the NBC's decision to ban songs from top Nigerian artistes, Olamide, Davido and 9ice. Just yesterday 9ice reacted to the ban saying he'll be releasing more songs that the NBC will have to ban. Video director, Adasa Cookey has also now reacted to the ban saying the artistes have all the rights to sue the NBC.

In an interview with HipTV, the video director said, 'If it is one little part of your video that's causing your video to be banned, you can re-edit it and submit it for approval and make sure you do publicity after it's cleared. I mean you spent money to put out this stuff, if they ban it, it may be just one line that caused this ban so you don't have to go and chill that they banned your video because of one line'.

He continued, 'Go and meet them, they are people, and if you think they did not go through due process or you think they are wrong in banning your song I think it's high time somebody sued them. This is a business, an investment and they are interfering with people's money and people's livelihood. So if you feel they are wrong in banning your video, I think you should sue. They are the government doesn't mean they cannot be sued. You might even get retirement money from the whole process'.

'So basically I would just say, stay clear of things that can cause your video to be banned but if it's banned you know that you can remedy it, make efforts to remedy it. And if you think it's unlawful, sue them' he said.
