To be honest , I think that trying to convince non-believers, doubters and quitters would ultimately be a waste of our time. All of the quitters were not actively contributing by doing activities to grow the group. So them leaving does not set the group back at all. Our policy should be: Not to even question or quote any doubters or quitters and simply delete their moniker on the upto date list and keep it moving! One idea we should implement is to only quote DANites, and potential DANites, quitters, doubters and haters are best ignored. biz2get: Who pays for what services? Ok, I'll tell u how it all started. Tribalistic, bigoted, racist posts became rampant on NL, with disgusting graphics to go with them. The mods were doing absolutely nothing about them. Finally, to combat this phenomenon, a guy named ameri9ja put up a thread forming ADN (Association of Detribalised Nigerians). I was one of the earliest supporters. We were amazed by the groundswell of support. The membership was growing astronomically, the thread went to 7 pages, when, all of a sudden, NL deleted the entire thread. We lost almost all of our original members because no one thought of storing their monikers. Ameri9ja then restarted the thread under a different name, the current DAN. To answer your question, there is nothing to pay for. To add people to the list costs nothing and to put up posts attacking tribal bigotry and defending Nigerian unity costs nothing. Listen Nigeria would gain in the long wrong by applying federalism and devolution of power from the centre. I stay in the north, I know the north has enough of mineral resources to be self dependent, they have the sun energy to be self reliant, imagine tapping solar energy from places like borno, kebbi, Niger ,sokoto, yobe and jigawa just to mention a few. Do you know what would happen if northern states commercialise agriculture as their only source of revenue, mind you, we have majorly subsistence farming here . Do you know how many minerals are underneath the soil here in the north? On nasarawa alone is acclaimed to have the highest mineral deposits in nigeria. Buh why would they develop it when they are sure to the receiving money from the federal purse. We claim to imitate the US democracy, do they know that each state generate their resources? Under current status quo, any southerner clamoring for one Nigeria is deluded or just being selfish because he gains from the system |
