The guy is a gentle man, he did not terminate his contract. He planned to see it thru, His contract with Russia ends June 30th, 2010.
He is yet to join the Turkish national team, his contract with the Turks kicks off on August 1, 2010.

That is why the Russians still have a say, the Ivorien FA must still go thru the Russian FA.

the NFF cant buy out his contract, they are not that rich and influential as we think!
the Russians wil rather let him go for free without compensation to a serious team like CIV
than collect money in bits and piece to the NFF that cant organise a simple friendly game!!

Experienced coach Guus Hiddink has agreed terms with the Ivorian Football Association to coach Les Elephants during the World Cup, according to a report from Dutch national broadcaster NOS. The report claims that Hiddink has signed a two-month contract with Ivory Coast, starting on May 15, 2010 and running until July 15.

This guys wage demands are outrageous hence he is even signing a 2 month contract with IVC, what is that? Is he going to find new defenders or new keeper in 2 months?
