Not speacking the same language could be a minor issue to lots of folks, to me it would be a huge problem.

But the passage doesn't say "marriage should be for everyone, according to God's plan for man".  The passage you're referring to (Matthew 19) also talks about divorce and ends with "For some are eunuchs because they were born that way; others were made that way by men; and others have renounced marriage because of the kingdom of heaven."  Even Jesus was aware that marriage isn't for everyone.

@ OP Marriage isn't for everyone, and it is not compulsory for "everyone" to marry.  Language has nothing to do with it - people who speak different languages and from different cultures get married all the time.  Cross-cultural marriages do require an open mind, sensitivity and open communication, not assuming that "love will conquer all".
