How To Remove/disable Wordpress Plugin From Your Host Cpanel by BrainnewsNg(f): 1:47pm On Sep 07, 2017

Are you a WordPress user? Do you know that some Plugins can shut down your WordPress Dashboard and the only way to remove the Plugin is to remove it from your Host Cpanel.

I once had such experience in my blog Brainnews NG, when I installed a Plugin, my WordPress Dashboard immediately went down and I knew something was wrong with the Plugin I just installed, maybe it wasn’t compatible with my WP theme.
The only way to remove the conflicting Plugin is through your Host Cpanel with the following steps below:

• Login to your host Cpanel

• Under files click on “File Manager”

• Under your public_html folder, locate and click on “WP-Content folder

• Click on the “Plugins” folder

• Locate the plugin you wish to remove, right click on choose “Rename” and add “-disable” to the Plugin name without spacing.

After disabling the Plugin, your WordPress dashboard can now be accessible if the fault was from that particular Plugin and you can now remove it from your WordPress dashboard.
