September 11: SSANU, NASU To Join ASUU Strike On Monday
The joint action committee of Non-Teaching Staff of Universities has directed its members to proceed on a nationwide strike on September 11
The Nigerian government has its hands full. The problems are multiplying and the ministers did not have enough time during Sallah to prepare documents for Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council Meeting.

If the government fails to act before September 11 – all public universities in Nigeria will totally shut down indefinitely.

The Academic Staff Union of Universities appears to have switched to plan B. It appears to have reached out to its previously aggrieved brothers to join in the strike.

Members of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), National Association of Academic Technologists (NAAT) and the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU) have unanimously voted to embark on an indefinite strike.
