[img][/img] In demonstration of its commitment to honouring integrity which is one of the organisation’s core value, leading Nigerian security printing company Superflux International Limited in what can be described as a laudable act rewarded a security personnel, Mr. Ibrahim Ogbanagbo under the employ of United Bank for Africa, Oba Akran branch who in a rare display of honesty returned the sum of $10,000 belonging to a customer which he discovered. Mr. Ibrahim Ogbanagbo in the company of one of the Bank’s Regional Managers, Mrs. Pamela Shodipo visited the Corporate Head Office of Superflux located in Ogba, Lagos for the award event which was attended by the Board Members of the Superflux Group and other employees of the organisation where he was rewarded with a cash prize of N1, 000,000 (One Million Naira). Mr. Ibrahim Ogbanagbo had earlier in the year been recognised by the UBA group alongside other awardees at the prestigious annual CEO awards event which held on the 8th of April, 2017 at Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos. Superflux chose to fulfil the promise made by the President/CEO at the event to further reiterate its affirmation to integrity. Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, President, Superflux International Limited while delivering the opening remark once again justified the rationale behind honouring Mr. Ibrahim. He stated that “As a security printing company which thrives on customer trust, integrity is not an optional value but a must-have requirement for every employee of our company. Integrity has also overtime grown to be an integral and fundamental culture of Superflux.” He furthermore in his statement said that “We are proud to be associated with the UBA brand, who have not only been one of our founding and reliable customers but have remained strong partners till date. Recognising Mr. Ogbanagbo’s commendable act is our way of ensuring that our core values as a company spill over to the society we service, especially in these times that virtue is highly on the decline in our society”. Over time, the Pan African cheque printing company which is accredited by the Central Bank of Nigeria, Central Bank of Zambia among other West African Central Banks has rewarded individuals both within and outside its organisation who have exhibited characters of similar nature. Chief Operating Officer of Superflux, Mr. Gabriel Okonkwo while commending Mr. Ogbanagbo said, “Today this man has set an example that anyone can learn from, regardless of your position or profession, you can choose to be honest whether someone is watching or not. As a security printing company, our clients in Nigeria and across Africa trust us with sensitive and confidential information, we have become known as a symbol of integrity and we will continue to reward people who uphold this value.” While expressing his appreciation to Superflux, Mr Ogbanagbo commented that keeping the money could have changed his life for the better but was not however in line with his values or his professional responsibility as a security man. “I hope that my story will encourage other young Nigerians to uphold honesty and strong moral virtues in their daily responsibilities and collectively we can change the perception that Nigerians are corrupt”.

Nice...thank God they didn't reward him with just 10k like they usually do which by the way is the reason some folks don't mind running away with the lost but found cash... |
