The German Bundesliga has confirmed that 38-year-old policewoman, Bibiana Steinhaus will make history as the first woman to referee a game in Germany’s top division. Steinhaus will be in charge of the game between Hertha Berlin and Werder Bremen and she will join the rank of the league’s 24 top-flight referees.
