We are seeking a Public Relations officer to develop an enviable corporate image, build a strong industry network, and increase awareness by developing and executing effective communication and media relations programs for the School.

Responsibilities

Encourage enrolments by students at the primary and secondary level
Leverage existing relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry
Manage the production of effective advertising materials of the School to promote enrolments.
Promote the School using traditional and contemporary electronic means such as the Internet, social networking sites and listing sites
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis.
Help represent the School at functions that market the School
Research and implement strategic and operational marketing plans
Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting enrolments and make appropriate recommendations.

Requirements

First degree in public/mass communication or any business related field.
Have proven experience in community engagement
Strong Internet marketing and social media marketing skills
Excellent communication in English
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in events management
