Yesterday Reno Omokri aka Wendell Simlin was talking trash about how Jonathan has never been nabbed for corrupt enrichment. Pray tell, when Jonathan was President of the country and his wife was first lady, are you telling me that Patience was amassing billions of nair in skye bank and property in Abuja, Yenegoa and Portharcourt without the knowledge of the then President? Was Jonathan so clueless, dumb and idiotic that his wife, right under his nose, in the same bedroom, was stashing money and he wasn't aware? The same way Jonathan claimed he wasn't aware Dasuki and Diezani were fritting money away in bullion vans from the CBN and NNPC respectively. Please lets face reality and the truth, Goodluck Jonathan remains the worst thing that has ever happened to this country since Abacha. That mans stupidity and idiocy is second only to Abachas. The dullest man to ever have been called Head of State of Nigeria. A truly clueless idiot. A mistake of a President 2 Likes |

He has just sent the military to the east, killed and destroyed properties after he Buhari has refused to give the easterners even an half appointment from the recent NNPC reorganisation. openmine:Rubbish!!! When you won't read through the article. The EFCC traced the accounts and the companies that were used to purchase all the property that she built with stolen funds. In the article, the EFCC said the property were seized because there is no way someones whose last employment was a state permanent secretary, could afford to build them. Please Sir, endeavor to read properly before typing trash. Thanks 1 Like |

You apparently did not read my post well or did not understand me. Let me summarize: 1. I care less about APC or PDP. 2. All thieves are our enemies whether APC or PDP. 3. They are too much, spread across both parties and too powerful. 4. The only way we can recover our money is by using them to whistleblow themselves. 5. The incumbent goverment's time to vomit whatever they stole will come too. For now let those in the past government be vomiting. 1 Like |

It was alleged that the property was bought through her foundation known as Aribawa Aurera Reach Out Foundation. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has traced a magnificient architectural edifice of an uncompleted eight-storey building in Abuja to be allegedly owned by wife of former president of Nigeria, Patience Jonathan. “There is a high probability that it could have been built with the proceeds of crime. It is evidently clear that it is a case of money laundering but there is a need to do more investigation.” Allegation is a statement, made without giving proof, that someone has done something wrong or illegal Please before we accuse people blindly either due to ethnicity or party affiliations, lets know the use of words in sentimental articles like this...enough said!! 2 Likes |

Patience and her lawyer went to court to institute a fundamental human rights suit against the EFCC ostensibly to prevent her arrest and interrogation. The EFCC cannot arrest her but they can investigate her and freeze her assets. Please oga do not speak or post about issues you know nothing of or issues you're just too lazy to understand. Failure to bow to a superior argument is foolishness and you sir are foolish. You first questioned why Patience Jonathan has not been arrested if the so called allegations, like you called them, were true. I then told you that the lady in question went to court to institute a fundamental human rights suit against the EFCC to preemt her arrest and Interrogation. But because your ignorance is bliss, you reverted to the same "allegations" crap when you had nothing else to say. You're lower than scum. A man who refuses to read between the lines and learn is as good as an idiot. You sir are a certified idiot. Thank you again! |

openmine:Once again oga before i round off and before you divert from the origin of this argument, Patience Jonathan has a case in court that restrains the EFCC from arresting her! You cannot use the fact that she hasn't been arrested yet to infer that she's doesn't own those properties. Please kindly look for any 20+year old wherever you are to explain it to you since you're too stupid to understand. An idiot who uses non-arrest as a yardstick for innocence. This has been the dumbest argument I've ever engaged anyone in on Nairaland. The person i'm exchanging with is incapable of grasping basic facts. openmine:One last nail on your coffin... http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/239457-court-orders-permanent-forfeiture-diezanis-37-5-million-lagos-property.html Please open this link and read. A court granted the EFCCs request for diezani's property to be permanently forfeited to the FG because the EFCC succeeded in proving after investigation, that they were acquired with proceeds of crime. Was Diezani ever arrested or interrogated by the EFCC oga? Is she not currently in London on medical vacation? Did the court ask the EFCC to prove that diezani was guilty of anything before seizing her property? In the same vein the EFCC has applied for temporary forfeiture of Patience Jonathan's property. If nobody turns up in court to state why the property should not be forfeited to the government, the court will generously forfeit the property to the FG. And there is nothing anybody, not even you with your stupid ranting of "allegation" or whatever, can do. Hope i've been able to explain to your stupid self, a few basic points about law. You are clearly the most foolish person i've ever argued with on nairaland. I'm sure even after this brief lecture you'll still come back with yet more stupid and foolish things to say. I hope i'm not tempted to reply your foolishness again. Rest in Peace Idiot!!! |

SBG04:just to show dat u r an epitome of wat u r using to insult people,I explicitly said dat EFCC must get proven evidence to arrest any one rather Dan depending on "hearsay" or "allegations"....that was the basis of my argument and I remember that I was exchanging views with a particular person on dis forum but U just jumped into and argument dat U knew absolutely nothing about to display ur ignorance and zombified mindset to attack my views.... I thought U needed a change of school to redefine ur untrained mind,I never knew Ur case is beyond remedy.... For d fact that u r still arguing based on an earlier injunction btw patience and EFCC that has nothing to do with dis report confirms ur warped thinking!! Hahahahaha....U call dis report "facts"? SBG04:Ohh God I can't stop laughing....Mr law....look at d bolded statement....Hahahahaha Hahahahaha even ur link and statement about d forfeiture of diezani's property is self-inflicting....its just another proof that u don't read reports before posting them....and another shocking and damning reason why ur thinking ability is questionable!! That u can't distinguish btw proof and allegation is a sorry testament of how terrible ur schooling has failed U....go back and collect ur school fee Abeg...lol SBG04: Jesus wept....EFCC cannot request for a permanent or temporary seizure of property from the court without proof or evidence...d reason why it was successful with dat of diezani was because they had "substantial proof" hence they were successful with the seizure.... This report which is a bone of contention is based on d fact dat its still an "allegation"....in oda words,no proof yet...just mere speculation and no court will give a warrant of arrest or seizure of property without damning evidence.. And to conclude,no court can hold on to any property when no evidence of crime has been brought b4 it....its like arresting and detaining an individual without proof of any wrongdoing....gush I can't believe am doing dis....lol Ohh God is dis wat ur school taught U or are u trying to cover up ur deficiencies? 1 Like |

openmine: "The document read in part, “In view of the foregoing, I request for an interim forfeiture order on the two properties amongst others linked to the suspect and believed to have been acquired from the proceeds of crime" Copied and pasted from the article on the front page. Your father is a fool!!! Ccommon sense you don't have. Simple English you don't understand. If the EFCC finds any property or bank account which it suspects was obtained from proceeds of crime, the EFCC can approach any court with competent jurisdiction to seek interim and final forfeiture of the property. Whoever is suspected of being the owner will then have to go to the Court and explain to it why the property should not be forfeited to the government. The EFCC does not need to wait for the person to be convicted of anything before seizing their property. Diezanis properties were suspected to be proceeds of crime. The EFCC did not wait to "prove the allegations" to anybody! The EFCC approached the court to seek interim forfeiture pending when anyone approached to court to prove why the property should not be forfeited to the government. Nobody showed up hence her property was handed over to the FG. The money that was found in those apartments in Lekki was suspected to be proceeds of crime and was taken to court and an interim forfeiture order was obtained pending the time someone showed up to state why the money should not be given to the government. Nobody showed up hence the money was forfeited to the FG. No arrest was made, and none has been made till date but the money in question now belongs to the FG. Similarly the EFCC has approached the court to seek temporary forfeiture of Patience Jonathans property. If after the temporary forfeiture order is obtained, she goes to the court and explains why the forfeiture order should not be granted and how she got the money to buy the property, the court may or may not find merit in her position and grant or not grant the forfeiture order. But seeing as there is no logical explanation as to how a State permanent secretary acquired all that property, it is most likely that Patience Jonathan will not turn up in court for the forfeiture hearing and the property in question will be seized by the FG. I have painstakenly explained the law to your foolish self here. If after this you still find reason to argue, then your mother too must be a fool. Now I'm assuming your foolishness is just on your father's side. Please endeavour to prove me wrong. Thank you! |
