Now that Imo State House of Assembly has resumed, I strongly believe they will look into this matter. There is a form in circulation by Imo State Government. They call it property verification form. People are asked to pay 1.5 to 1.9 million to reregister their houses. They are threatened with demolition if they fail to do so.

It has become obvious that the APC led government in Imo State has unleashed mayhem on Ndi Imo. Imagine a situation where you demolished someone's shope at Eke Ukwu, sent the Son parking from Tetlow Plaza, stopped the Dad who drives Keke, as if these are not enough, you have asked them to pay to reregister a house they have been living-in for the past 10 years. What else can be described as wickedness?

Indeed, when the righteous is on the throne, the people rejoice, but when the reverse is the case, mkpata mkpa ga akpa. The unfortunate situation is that those incharge of all these are the same people yearning for power to change over to the youths. You can now see the reason. They want to continue stealing. They want to ensure that no other person comes in to expose them. That's the only strong agenda of taking over. Be careful of that man whose hands will be raised by those afflicting us with poverty. He has a mission. A mission to continue destroying and stealing. A mission to continue demolishing without rebuilding. A failed mission indeed!

1.9 million to register your house. They should know you live their already if it was approved and zoned by the government. Only people in "illegal structures" have to worry. If you have certificate of occupancy how can the till you to register.

A sticky situation would be is if you bought land. You own that land maybe a year or two before you build your house. Do you have to register house. The government knows you own the land in case they want to tax you. Do you have register again to let then know you built a house?

Their urban planning is important but the shouldn't go about like tyrants. If the price is too high bring it down. Then move to collect data.

This is just a questionnaire. Nothing relates your photo with the lies you wrote. What the government is doing is a step in right direction which will help for statistics and future planning.

Let me add again. One of the major problems we have in present day Nigeria is failure of past governments to obtain adequate statistics for future planning. Okorocha is presently doing what should be done if indeed we want Nigeria to meet up with the world.

All I see is verification form with no amount or condition of payment attach to it.
In Lag we do house verification and pay land use charge which serves as internal generated revenue. Igbos n Lies cool
