K024: Actually, u may need ur local nigerian license in order to obtain d international license here in nigeria, buh once u leave d shores of Nigeria to a foreign country, d local license becums invalid... Foreign country does not need ur local license for anything... All dey need is d international license or international driving permit.. 2 Likes 1 Share |

TechAddiction:It depends on the "abroad" country. I still use my Nigerian license to drive here in Australia, though we are given some months to change to their national licence. International license is not accepted. Students and visitors here can use their nigerian licences throughout the duration of their stay |

I use mine here. I have been doing so every time I am in the country. However, whenever you are asked when you came in, just tell them last week and you are returning in few days . . . just so you avoid too many stories, cause some will tell you you can't use it for more than 2 weeks, which is false information. Police and RS won't stress you much, but some of them try to be smart by half . . . angling for 'roger' . . . but you go 'roger' anyway. #bottomline. 2 Likes |

Its very possible. Have been using my Nigerian license both in Nigeria and Turkey. As long as it is valid......you can use it anywhere in the world. Some people esp. Nigerians here choose to get an international driving license in other to hide their country's identity. |

analryder: Naija man in town for less than 3 months(with strong proof) or expatriates, they will usually free you to go after shaking bodi small. But if you are a naija man in town for more than 3 months, just get your National Driver's License. It's WAY less stressful on the road with the uniforms. I speak from personal experience |

Yes you can. I used my UK driving license in Nigeria when I visited home for christmas (2016). As a confirmation, I was even stopped by FRSC (Road Safety) Officials and I produced the license upon request which was acceptable to them. I got busted for something else though. My passenger wasnt wearing his seat belt (I didnt notice this earlier). |

it is certernly funny how africans especially nigerians react when they happen to meet a colored person. please brothers and sister i am in europe now and i can directly tell you that there are nothing special about the these colored people but most unexpossed africans are suffering from inferriority madness. the truth is that african and for sure nigeria in its current state and statute is far better than many many eurpean countries and nigerians and individuals are far better and richer and we to do than average italian, polish, belgium, romanians, and a whole lot of other europeans. but who no know, no know and some of you waste alot of yout hard made liquid cash to come here only to disapointed. sorry but if you don't have relatives in europe w can give true infos, then save your future because nigeria in it's woste state is better for you as nigerian. meanwhile, the so called OP here is just a local yahoo boy that copied and pasted unknown person's ID just to cash small brains to defraud them after they might think it is real. unfuturnatly, many naijas are very very small brains and illitrates even after attending UNIversity. Sorry no mean abuse u |

TechAddiction:see as you analyse am with confidence....you are actually wrong on the term that your local licence becomes invalid once you get into a foreign country...using canada as a reference, once you bring an original local naija licence, they will ask you if you want to use it for 6months because once they collect it, they will first verify its authenticity and then destroy it....they will then give you a waiver for a learner's licence....which means you can go directly for a road test to get a class 5........atleast thats what they did to me 1 Like |
Re: Is It Possible To Drive In Nigeria With An EU Driving Licence? by sleek82(m): 5:29pm On Sep 15, 2017 |
PrecisionFx:i don't it is accepted in canada too.....i think its because the authenticity is hard to confirm. They prefer the local licence 2 Likes |
