Will Nigeria Still Be One, If The Northerners Want Out? by Totodude: 8:07pm On Sep 15, 2017 |
Had it been that the northern part of Nigeria wanted this separation that the IPOB have been struggling for, would Nigeria still be one? The truth is all the leaders are being on fair to the IPOB people, because am convinced beyond any reasonable doubt that Nigeria would have separated had it been that the hausa brothers wanted their own Republic of AREWA. 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Totodude:When the northern region wanted to secede, why was Nnamdi Azikiwe running from pillar to post to prevent their breakout in 1953? |

Tolexander:Thank God you said 1953, Nigeria was not yet a country then. This is 2017, and what has become of the union is questionable . 7 Likes 1 Share |

If we want our own country Nigeria must be divided Because we will not follow kanus way We will request a country through our intellectuals, politicians and academics not school drop outs and touts Because if you get a country through touts, what is happening in south Sudan is awaiting you We northerners are politically matured and of course Yoruba people. 1 Like |

Totodude: Had it been the North, particularly the core North, who had wanted "Arewa Republic" Nobody would have said a word, not even all these Yorubas who hate Kanu and IPOB. The North would have just gone their way The only reason the North has not left a long time ago is Oil money. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Totodude: Oil is the ONLY reason northerners want to be in the same country with the south. Soon that oil will be too dear for anyone northerner or southerner to mine. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Dymaco:gbam. Nigeria is willing to go to war to keep igbos in nigeria. I don't think nigeria would bother with any other tribe if that tribe wants to leave. The north knows that letting igbos have biafra will definitely break up the rest of nigeria. Yorubas are too cowardly to oppose the north so they support whatever the north does to keep igbos in nigeria. No country will risk war over something thats not important. 3 Likes 2 Shares |

We will fight to subdue them into one Nigeria. One Nigeria is serious business. There was a guy called Okar who had practically succeeded in overthrowing IBB until.the fool.went on radio and removed many northern states from Nigeria. The coup failed very quickly from then. Don't EVER try to break up Nigeria even if you have all the good reasons, a billion good reasons. Na heavy bad luck to try it. |

Adminisher: You and who will fight to keep the Notherners in Nigeria? Because we Igbos love herdsmen attacks or because we like 'born to rule'? 4 Likes |

[b]I see some people say we will stop them. Who dares to stop them? They will cut you like suya! They have the highest number of army generals, brigadier, who is the commander of the army from tenor to tenor? So how will you stop them? You guys can reason like chickens sometimes. The matter on ground is now above a ground asking for their own country. Its now a matter of history repeating itself!! When the dance fully begins many of you will run to churches to pray for peace. You won't see power to charge your phone and come on nairaland to attack one another, how will you? When you are running from Bush to Bush feeding on rats and lizards. I urge all groups to remain calm because if hell breaks loose everyone will have a taste of war! You have a president who thinks soaking dogs and baboons in blood fixes anything. Let's see who will take him out of power in 2019, he will first of all lay corruption cases on the aspiring presidential candidate, and keep him chilling with DSS for the main time. The man isn't even saying anything about contesting because he sees Nigerians as fools. All the hate speech on nairaland should stop!! Stop rejoicing over the killings of unarmed people!! Today you come on nairaland and narrate how police men slapped you, took your phone and laptop then labeled you a yahoo boy. Since no one takes it seriously, after all who cares. Tomorrow they will kill your brother or sister and label them armed rubbers and no one will listen to your cries. Dnt wish anyone death! Today it is IPOB tomorrow it might be you. It would be difficult for them to leave as it will be for Biafra, the difficulty lies in the Middle Belt and Delta state questions, respectively. |

Thank God every one has now seen the hypocrisy If Arewa are the once doing what IPOB are doing today, will a Yoruba almajiri vomit trash as they are vomiting today against ipob? If Arewa declares independence today and close their boundary, will anybody from South go up north to retake the land back to one Nigeria? SHAME to the so called intelligent south who are nothing but COWARDS and SLAVES |
