We are solicitors to the SAVE NIGERIA GROUP (hereinafter referred to as “our client”) on whose behalf we write this letter. It would be recalled that President Umaru Musa Yaradua was flown out of Nigeria on November 23, 2009 for the treatment of acute pericarditis at the King Faisal Hospital , Jeddah , Saudi Arabia . Notwithstanding that the President has been in coma since he was brought back home last week, some presidential aides attempted to seize power and govern the country on his behalf.

 
Apart form deploying armed soldiers to the streets of Abuja , statements were issued  on the purported  instruction of the President while some directives were alleged to have been passed by him to the Acting President with respect to the governance of the country.

As the aforesaid statements and directives were not authorized by the President you will agree us that the attempt by a clique of unelected presidential aides to govern Nigeria illegally constitutes a violation of Section 1(2) of the Constitution which states:

“The Federal Republic of Nigeria shall not be governed, nor shall any person or group of persons take control of the government of Nigeria or any part thereof, except in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution”.

In the light of the foregoing, we have the instructions of our client to request that you arrest and prosecute the suspects for treasonable felony pursuant to Section 41 of the Criminal Code Act.

In a country governed by sane human beings these rapscallions would've been arrested.

What they did was Coup-de-tat, They should all be relieved of their posts,sacked and jailed without any benefit.
They had enough resources and manpower to overthrow GEJ.

Unless we do things properly, we are setting a dangerous precedent when unelected( even possibly foreigners/foreign influenced) nonetities give instructions and directions for running our country, in the name of 'oga say, oga said, them say'

All the actors/actresses in this silly movie called 'The disapperance of a President'  which includes Turai must be made to come before the senate committe to give account of what they are hiding that the 'elected' or selected President of Nigeria cannot be sighted in public or give statement, and faceless people giving directions.

For, example who gave instructions to whom to mobilise 2 battalions of Army on the  wednesday morning of 22nd February 2010, with detailed events.

Who instructed Segun Adeniyi about what the President said, did the President himself spoke to him or via someone, and if someone, who?

When was the last time the 'former' President spoke, and to whom , and how many other person were present there?

THERE ARE TOO MANY COVER UPS AND UNANSWERED QUESTIONS THAT IS DANGEROUS FOR OUR PRESENT AND THE FUTURE OF THIS COUNTRY.

Falana is doing it by the law and appopriately. I hope the senate, and the useless opposition party are able to do something serious to protect the integrity of this country.

Segun Adeniyi refers to Jonathan as Vice president on wednesday , reframes his expression on thursday and calls him Acting President & CIC in charge of the state's affairs. Did he see yaradua at all to discuss this? I mean to these guys our polity is a toy that can be played with. The lot including madam 1st lady should be jailed on the account of treasonable felony as femi requested+forgery of the president's signature on the appropriatn act. someone has to teach this people to do the right thing, and Femi Falana is the guy.

But, question is does he have the right to demand that a citizen be arrested?. . . am guessing the whole thing lie on the table of the Anthony General of the federation who decides if the government wants to prosecute the case or not.
