If you love dealing with breaking changes when you update then Laravel is the framework for you, and yeah if you love magic codes too and excessive unreasonable use of static classes, I use Symfony but Laravel is good

They are facades, not static classes.

Laravel is a modern framework, the latest version requires at least PHP 7.0 to work. Meaning Laravel takes advantages of the latest php features instead of depending upon on custom functions which won't be as fast as native PHP functions.

I have a Laravel project I have been upgrading since 5.0, I don't spend up to an hour for each upgrade. It's now in Laravel 5.5

Exactly my point how am I supposed to know they are not static classes Symfony does nothing like that except you can rename a class using a service using the Service Manager like in Zend which makes more sense.
