The Future Nigeria group (FNG) said yesterday in Abuja that ailing President Umaru Yar'adua did not commit any offence or breach the constitution by not appearing in public five days after his return from Saudi Arabia.

Addressing journalists on the state of the nation, national chairman and former Special Adviser on Youth Matters to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Kolade Victor Akinjo and national secretary, Abdullahi Alikano, said that the prompt directive by President Yar'adua to Acting President Goodluck Jonathan to oversee the affairs of the state while he recuperates is enough to show that the president means well for the country.

While commending Acting President Goodluck Jonathan for his loyalty and spirit of service, he said that any other person with unbridled desperation for power would have thrown the nation into confusion.

He condemned those criticising Hajia Turai Yar'adua, saying the first lady's obligation must be on the on the side of her husband for his quick recuperation.

Who wants to see Yar'Adua? What the International community and I are interested in is stability and averting consternation and possibly anarchy or worst still a militarized Nigeria.Can't these nincompoops decipher the aforementioned from the barrage of endorsement trailing Jonathan's ascension to the throne.The West do not want increase in oil prices to compound their economic woes; so even if a mad man or child president(remember Egypt most popular Pharaoh) could suffice as long as there is calm in Nigeria.Moreover Nigerians want to have some relief from the suffering that beholds the black race.If we get 24 hours energy supply from anybody,it is acceptable.Therefore Yar'Adua's death,well being or even public appearance is highly inconsequential.
