About hundred years ago, a man looked at the morning news paper and to his surprise and horror,read his name in the obituary column. The news paper had mistakenly reported the dead of the wrong person.his first response was shock. I am i hear or there? When he regained his composure, his second thought was to find out what.people say about. The obituary read,"dynamic king dies" and also "he was the merchant.of death" this man was the inventor of dymamite and when he read the worf"merchant of death" he asked himself a quesyion"is this how i am going yo be remembered" he got his touch with his feelings and decided that this was not the way he wanted to be remembered. From that day on he started working towards peace. His name is alfred nobel and he is remembered today by the great nobel prize.
Just as alfred nobel got in touch with his feelings and redifined his values,we should step back and tho the same
What is your legacy?how would you like to be remembered. Will you be spoken well of? Will you be remembered with love and respect? Will you be missed?
When a child is born,who rejoices? The parents, relatives and friends but who cries? The child. However, when a man dies it should be the other way round.we should be rejpicing and have the satosgaction that we made a contribution to the world and left the world a little better place than we found it
So lets strive to add value to the world,lets show love and kindness irrespective of ethnicity, tribe or race. Lets creat an impact in our community and nation at large and lets leave the world a better place than we left it
