Kamarudeen Usman, known as the ‘Nigerian nightmare’, is a mixed martial artist who is full of braggadocio and tough talking.

Usman competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, UFC, and he’s the current ultimate fighter in his category, the welterweight division. He is on a 10-fight winning run.

He is renowned not just for his fighting talent but his bravado and charismatic aura.

After his fight on Sunday, the Auchi, Edo state-born fighter said: “Listen! Anybody in da welterweight division that think they want this? You know you don’t.

“Because, I am a problem… a problem in that division. We got a great group of guys. I have seen it all. I have done it all. Anybody, anytime, anywhere, bring it. They don’t know am a problem.

“Naija we don land, dem say I no fit do am. I go show dem say lai lai, lai lai, Naija no dey carry last.”
