Brilliant investigative journalism.

Just as suspected, Nigerians of the eastern extraction have been verifiably linked to this illegal arms importation.

Their purpose and destination is anybody's guess.

Python Piss fall on IPOB.

Lets not conclude quickly. It cud be a setup or decoy to shield d actual importers.

Now this is improved journalism.....

Take it up a notch...

Has the company been submitting returns to the CAC, the FIRS, who are its lawyers, accountants, banking details BVN, that shipment was paid for by whom? Funny we cant get a copy of international passport or driver's licence for those names. Blacklist the company close down their accounts.

So many laws have been broken. The Nigerian Customs and the journalists, good job.

This is an unprofessional and unpatriotic reporting that will eventually jeopardise investigation and arrest of the culprits. This kind of investigation supposed to be discreet until the culprits are caught or enough information gathered on them before disclosing their identity to the public.

Some of U are funny... So d security agencies had dis much info and haven't arrested d culprits already but d journalists were somehow able to trace d said owners with info dey got from customs?? So Igbos wanting to arm demselves for war would do so with Pump action rifles?? Dis story was created for one sole purpose and already morons are falling over it.

In your opinion the pump action rifles are not meant for any militia but for hunting games abi?
Why would anyone need so much guns for any civilian purpose? Are individuals permitted to own such guns in large quantities?

You are right. Except it's propaganda. Which it can well be. Because we never heard of the previous arms importation in which some custom officials were even declared wanted

Those pump action rifles were brought in by politicians and using d whole Ipob thingy as cover.. How com its only journalist who are on d lookout for d importers and not d security agencies investigating d issue? They are simply milking d whole Ipob situation to paint dem as bad as dey can and let allow ppl connect d dots demselves. As I said it is a regional problem and you must realise their tactics have proven difficult even for more advanced nations.

Boko Haram mostly attack using suicide bombers. Just lack week in the UK a bomb was left on a train (Note not a suicide bomber) so imagine thick and local Borno state in Nigeria.

Most times Boko Haram have guns to fight from ransacking police stations and some duty posts of the military.

This is well published and I really find it frustrating that Nigerians love to dance around readily available facts.

The tactics of insurgents are well known to me.
My concern is why the govt is tracking (with ease and great zeal) gun runners and financiers in one region while everything about the other region remains a mystery. How do you convince some of us that there is equal right and justice in the country?

Before this government came into being how many were tried?

Therefore the 'cover up' holds no water.

I still insist that their methods do not require much import if any.

Bombs can be manufactured using daily household products.

So looking for a sponsor of someone buying kerosene as an example, means you are simply chasing your shadow.

I don't think there's such a thing as sponsor of Boko Haram. Not in the sense we think of sponsorship anyway.

How can you say Boko Haram has no sponsors? Are you saying the anti-aircraft guns, other high calibre guns, boxes of ammunitions, hilux vans etc are manufactured by Boko Haram inside Sambisa forest?
