The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Prof. F. C. Eze has mentioned that the FUTO 2016/2017 convocation may not hold. The Vice Chancellor who mentioned this while given a speech during the Holy Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Chaplaincy (STACC), federal University of Technology, Owerri on Sunday, September 24th 2017 said that due to the Nationwide ASUU strike that was just called off, there is a tendency that the convocation may not hold.
